The Manager highlights his players good performance and thinks the draw was “fair”
After the draw against RC Deportivo de la Coruña (0-0), Villarreal Manager Fran Escribá emphasized that his side, with seven players out, lacked the ability to score. “Today we lacked goals. We were missing some players, we had two strikers, but neither of them had their best game. This was evident, the team played well, but we weren’t capable of finishing. Everybody likes to win and that is what we always go for, but when you don’t win you have to try, at least, to not lose. Therefore, I think a draw was fair in the end”.
