‘La Rojita’ beat Croatia 2-1 in the quarter-finals and will face Portugal in the next round of the European U21 Championships
Spain U21s qualified for the semi-finals of the European Championships after beating Croatia (2-1) in the quarter-finals. ‘La Rojita’ overcame their opponent after reaching extra-time, thanks to two Javi Puado goals. They will face Portugal in the semi-finals this Thursday at 6pm CEST.
Villarreal’s Fer Niño and Yeremy Pino took part in the win. The striker started the game and played 57 minutes, while the winger came off the bench in the 83rd minute, and played the remainder of normal time and all of extra time in Maribor (Slovenia).
