The Villarreal Manager praised the Submarine’s “judgement” and “intensity” vs Alavés
Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, was extremely satisfied with his side’s performance in the fantastic win they achieved against Deportivo Alavés at the Mendizorroza stadium (0-3). “It was a great all-round performance. We’re all really happy. The team was intense during the match, even when we were up by three. We played well, with good judgement, patience and intensity”, he commented.
For Escribá, the three consecutive wins achieved by Villarreal should strengthen the Yellows morale: “We want our fans to be proud of the team and I’m sure that they are. We’re not going to think the work is done after three wins, people have to have patience. As we keep getting players back the level of play will keep going up. We’re still missing important players, like Bruno”.
To finish, the Yellows boss praised the level of the whole team: “We’re a very strong side. I always highlight the players who supposedly have a secondary role. On this occasion, Rukavina put in an extraordinary performance today. The feelings in the team are very positive”.
