This Saturday there will be a new edition of Groc Talent, as well as the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament, while the youngsters can give their wishlist to ‘Groguet’ Father Christmas
Villarreal CF, in co-ordination with Vila-real council, has prepared a number of activities for the build-up to this Saturday’s game with Getafe CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica (6:30pm CET). The Fan Zone will get underway half an hour before it usually does (4pm CET). A special build-up to the game so Yellows fans can have the best time possible.
As well as a new edition of the ‘3v3 Groguet’, with teams from UD Alginet, CF Nules and SP Mislata CF taking part, there is also the fifth performance as part of Groc Talent, with El sombrero de color taking to the Fan Zone stage, just outside the Estadio de la Cerámica South Stand. At the Official Supporters’ Group headquarters, there will also be a great atmosphere, with El Tordet Groguet fan club from Almassora taking centre stage from 5:10pm.
Vila-real will be the town taking centre stage as part of Endavant Província. Musicians from the Unió Musical La Lira will perform twice, first in the build-up to the game and then at half-time. The food for the directors’ meal will come from the El Vasco restaurant, while Vila-real mayor José Benlloch will watch the match from the Estadio de la Cerámica VIP box.
Finally, funds will be raised for Conquistando Escalones, a charity founded for people affected by Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F and their family members.
‘Groguet’ Father Christmas, at the Fan Zone
‘Groguet’ Father Christmas will be at the Fan Zone outside the stadium (4pm CET) to receive youngsters’ lists. He will arrive straight from Lapland on his magic sleigh to bring joy to Yellows fans.
Thanks to this new Endavant Club Groguet initiative, no-one will be without a present this Christmas. Villarreal CF has also organised a number of Christmas workshops and games for young Yellows to enjoy at the Fan Zone.
El sombrero de color take to the Groc Talent stage
Este sábado se celebrará la quinta jornada del concurso Groc Talent en la ‘Fan Zone’ del Estadio de la Cerámica con la actuación de El sombrero de color a partir de las 17.30 horas. Groc Talent nace del convenio entre el Villarreal CF y el SanSan Festival dentro de Endavant Cultura. Participarán nueve grupos y el vencedor tendrá como premio tocar en el festival de Benicàssim en 2020.
This Saturday, it’s the fifth ediedition of the Groc Talent competition at the Estadio de la Cerámica Fan Zone, with El sombrero de color’s performance, from 5:39m. Groc Talent is the product of the collaboration agreement between Villarreal CF and SanSan Festival, as part of Endavant Cultura. A total of nine groups will take part and the winner will be rewarded with the prize of performing at the festival in Benicàssim in 2020.
This Friday, it’s El sombrero de color’s turn. They’re a musical group combining a number of different musical styles to create a unique, upbeat and fun sound, which comes from passion, hard work and friendship. Their strength is playing live. El sombrero de color is made up of Juanan Corcuera, Víctor Pajares, Víctor Nebot and Álex Corcuera.
The style has seen them win various awards (first place at the ‘International Competition for Emerging Bands’ at the Arenal Sound festival, first place for the best live performance at the national Music Awards) as well as performances at the Arenal Sound festival, the Amstel ‘All Stars’ Castellon concert, the Amstel Festival in Morella and at the Save The Children Festival in Valencia, to name but a few. - 4:30pm CET: Groguet Father Christmas will make the youngsters dreams come true by receiving their wishlists.
- 5:10pm CET: Start of the party at the Official Supporters’ Group base with the El Tordet Groguet fan club from Almassora taking centre stage.
- 5:30pm CET: El sombrero de color’s performance at the Fan Zone, the fifth edition of Groc Talent.
- 6:26pm CET: ‘3v3 Groguet’ winners’ photo with the Villarreal CF starting XI.
- 6:30pm CET: Kick off between Villarreal CF andGetafe CF.
