Villarreal welcomed the associations on a launch day held at La Cerámica
Endavant Igualtat is back with a bang. Villarreal CF held a launch event to present the project for the current 2023/24 season. Held at the Estadio de la Cerámica, the event brought together the main Villarreal CF teams and the participating associations.
It began with a small reception at the El Ceramista Restaurant, where old friends from the teams and associations met up again. Later, the large group moved to the remodelled press room at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
In this renovated space, Miguel Ángel Tena, Villarreal CF’s director of football, presented the new features of the project for the 23/24 season, accompanied by Paloma Masó, head of the initiative; Iker Álvarez, Villarreal B player; and Paco, a Down Castellón centre user and player for the team with intellectual disabilities (EDI).
During the event, an introductory video was shown and there was even a very emotional moment in memory of José Manuel Llaneza, former vice-president of Villarreal CF and a great promoter of Endavant Igualtat. Finally, a group photograph was taken on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Endavant Igualtat will start its activities and activities in October. The starting point will be a special relationship between the users and the players.
