The ‘3v3 Copa Endavant’, a tournament that will tour 12 towns and villages in the province of Castellón
Villarreal CF has presented the ‘Centenario Groguet’ tour, an event promoted by the club, which will organise different activities throughout the province and will involve the towns and villages of Castellón in the centenary celebrations during the first few months of 2023.. The star activity of this new provincial tour, which will include more events, will be the celebration of the ‘3v3 Copa Endavant’.
The ‘Centenario Groguet’ Tour was presented this Wednesday at a press conference held at the Estadio de la Cerámica and led by Fernando Roig, Villarreal CF president. In addition, the appearance was attended by a large representation of mayors of the participating towns and villages in the tour: Samuel Falomir (l’Alcora), Merche Galí (Almassora), María José Safont (Borriana), Tania Baños (Vall d’Uixó), Rhamsés Ripollés (Morella), Carmina Ballester (Onda), José Benlloch (Vila-real), Begoña López (Vinaròs), Arturo Martí (Benicàssim) and Estefanía Sales (Segorbe).
The ‘3v3 Copa Endavant’, fun and surprises throughout the province
The ‘3v3 Copa Endavant’ consists of a small 3-a-side tournament that will be held from February to June in twelve towns in our province. Segorbe, Almassora, Vall d’Uixó, Vinaròs, Burriana, Morella, Onda, Vila-real, Benicàssim, Nules, l’Alcora, Benicarló and Vila-real will host the fun competition, which already toured the province of Castellón more than a decade ago.
Boys and girls aged between six and 12 (born between 2011 and 2016) can register by filling in the form on the Villarreal CF website to participate in one of the different venues that will make up the circuit of this provincial tournament. Each team will be made up of three or four players.
This mixed tournament, for boys and girls, will be divided into two categories: Groc (for boys and girls born in 2011, 2012 and 2013) and Blau (for boys and girls born in 2014, 2015 and 2016). Participants will receive a welcome pack and the winners of each location will receive a medal and will have the opportunity to play in the grand final.
As well as promoting football and fun, Villarreal will organise a big party in each of the towns and villages hosting the tournament. Inflatables, music and all kinds of surprises and activities for the little ones and their families to celebrate the ‘Centenari Groguet’ party in style.
The grand final of the tournament will be held on 10th June at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The champions of each location will play against each other on the pitch of the Estadio Cerámica. The winners in each category will win a trip for themselves and a companion to one of the first team’s away trips. In the grand final, the participants and their families will experience a unique day enjoying the best football and a great party in honour of Villarreal’s 100th anniversary.
