The Villarreal U14 and Villarreal Ladies won the tournament that involved over 2,500 players
Two Yellow champs! The Villarreal U14 and Ladies First Team were crowned champions of their respective categories in the finals of the 2018 Yellow Cup Easter today. This is the first tournament of the year organized by Villarreal and involved more than 2,500 participating players. During the three days of competition more than 300 matches were played and close to 20,000 people enjoyed watching the tournament.
The Yellows U14 beat CD Móstoles convincingly in the final, taking down the side from Madrid 4-1, while the Ladies First Team beat the Villarreal Ladies Reserves after the Group stage.
In the other categories, Betis beat Levante in the U8 (1-6) and the green-and-whites also won the U12 category against Villarreal (1-2). In the U10 category, CE Sabadell won by taking down Gurutzeta (6-2) and the U19 category was won by CD Acero after they beat Joanenc in the final (0-2).
