The Yellow team has reached a collaboration agreement with the Alicante club
Villarreal CF and the Elitei Project have reached a collaboration agreement to work together on the grassroots. In this way, the Alicante team becomes part of the Yellow Submarine affiliate clubs.
The celebration of the signed agreement, took place this week in the Yellow’s Ciudad Deportiva, it was led by Villarreal CF vice-president, José Manuel Llaneza, and by the Chief Executive of the Elitei Project, Vicente Cabanes.
Founded in April 2018 after the merging of Idella CF and Elda Industrial, this young club was born with the purpose of competing with the great football academies in Alicante. Despite the relative youth of its sports project, the Elitei Project is a fully consolidated club. Currently, it has 20 federated teams in all training categories. More than 320 players who dream of one day making the jump to Villarreal CF to become professional footballers.
It’s worth remembering that Villarreal CF holds a collaboration agreement with various national and international clubs with regards to player and coach training. Many of the young talents what started to train with these clubs have found themselves totally involved with the #YellowsAcademy like the reserves player, Iván Martin (EF Torre-Pacheco).
The Villarreal CF affiliated clubs are as follows: CD Roda, Primer Toque, CD Oliver, EF Torre-Pacheco, CD Floresta, Lacross Babel CF, ADIUR, Mislata UF and Elitei Project.
