Vicente Iborra hailed the Yellow Submarine’s attitude during the hard clash at the Sánchez-Pizjuán
Villarreal midfielder Vicente Iborra appeared in front of the media to analyse the Submarine’s win against Sevilla. The Yellows No.10 hailed his team’s attitude at a tough stadium: “I believe that the team was impressive at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. You could see a committed and solid team. We knew we were coming to a tough stadium against a great opponent. This team has character and spirit. We can show cutting edge or not but the attitude we showed today is undeniable.”
What’s more, the Valencian midfielder praised the level of the Yellows squad and highlighted the importance of being solid at the back. “We’re a good side, with a lot of potential, but we must show the best of us to win. In LaLiga, no-one gifts you anything. If we don’t concede, we have a good chance of winning games. We must be ambitious, knowing that there is a lot to improve on. If we show our best, we could reach our goals.”
