    The Submarine will play against the side from Extremadura in the first round of the knock-out tournament

    Villarreal now know their opposition for the Copa del Rey First Round. Unai Emery’s side will face CD Santa Amalia, a club founded in 1969, who currently play in the Primera División Extremeña, the sixth tier. The match will take place on the weekend of 12th and 13th November at the Estadio Francisco de la Hera (Almendralejo).
