The Colombian striker and the Valencian goalkeeper visited the CEIP Avel·lí Corma de Moncofa school

Men’s first team striker Carlos Bacca and women’s first team goalkeeper María Sanjuán have gone back to the classroom in Moncofa. The forward and the goalie visited CEIP Avel·lí Corma de Moncofa thanks to the Club Groguet ‘A Star In Your School’ initiative. Both had a great time with the youngsters, sharing moments and fun anecdotes about their experiences as professional footballers.

Students from the CEIP Ave·lí Corma de Moncofa school could satisfy their curiosity, asking all sorts of questions to the Yellows footballers in an entertaining press conference where the youngsters acted as journalists. Finally, they could get autographs and a group photo with Bacca and Sanjuán.

The ‘A Star In Your School’ initiative, within the Endavant Club Groguet programme, has been running for a number of years. This campaign, Bacca and Sanjuan are the first to take part in this fun activity, which started four seasons ago.

Throughout the season, Yellow Submarine players will visit schools to enjoy meeting the youngsters. As well as interviewing the Villarreal stars, schools in the Castellón province can enjoy a free training session taken by Yellows youth coaches and a guided tour of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
