The talented midfielder from Vila-real extends his contract by three more seasons with hometown club

Carlo Adriano has extended his contract with Villarreal! The midfielder from Vila-real has renewed his contract until 30th June 2026. The midfielder is one of the key pieces in the midfield for Miguel Álvarez in this demanding season in LaLiga SmartBank and his renewal comes at a sweet moment for the young promise of the Yellows Academy

A hometown product

Carlo Adriano García Prades (Vila-real, 12th February 2001) joined the Yellows 13 years ago, making him one of the longest-serving players in the club. There are several reasons for this, but the main one is that he is at home. His father, Adriano García, is a legend of the club and that has made Carlo to be a Yellow since he was a child. The midfielder was part of the team that, coached by Miguel Álvarez, helped Villarreal B achieve their historic promotion to LaLiga SmartBank. The Yellows Academy player made his debut with the first team at a very young age in a Copa del Rey match against Leioa on 16th December 2020 and in LaLiga on 3rd January 2022 in a 5-0 win over Levante UD.

He was the sixth player from Vila-real to make his first-team debut, after César Arzo, Xisco Nadal, Héctor Font, Pau Torres and Migue Leal.
