Rubén Peña underlines how each day he is feeling more comfortable and is adapting to Villarreal’s playing style
Villarreal defender Rubén Peña appeared in front of the media this lunchtime to analyse the current goings-on with the Yellows. The No.20 underlined that every day he feels more confident on the pitch: “I’m getting better. I think I’ve been growing since day one. The manager wants me to be a daring footballer who uses the space. I want people to be able to see Rubén Peña at his best so I can bring the most possible to the team.”
Furthermore, Peña emphasised the difficult nature of the Yellow Submarine’s next league clash against CA Osasuna (Saturday, 9pm CEST): “They’re a tough team to face, they impose a high tempo and they push you to the limit. They make the game how they want to play and they make it into an end-to-end clash. They press a lot and don’t allow you to be comfortable. They’re very strong, especially at home. We should be wary, try and bring a high tempo to our game and be careful.”
