The Colombian striker, crucial in the Yellows win over Real Betis (0-2), was happy to be able to help the team
Villarreal striker Carlos Bacca appeared in front of the Villarreal TV microphones to analyse the win over Real Betis (0-2): “The whole team is doing a great job. All the players are chipping in. The manager is giving everyone chances and we’re all responding.”
The Colombian attacker was one of the key men in the tie, winning the penalty for the first goal and providing Gerard Moreno with an assist for the second. The Yellows No.9 was pleased with what he brought to the field in the win: “I’m feeling very confidence and I’m getting the minutes I need. When I’m confident, I can bring a lot of things to the team. I hope we continue like this because the best is yet to come.”
After five wins in six games, the Yellows host FC Barcelona at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Sunday (10pm CEST): “It’s a special game against one of the best teams in the world. We’re in good form and we’re playing at home. If we play our cards right and are full of excitement, we will try and get the three points.”
