Carlos Bacca played yesterday his 100th official match wearing the Villarreal shirt. The Colombian striker arrived at the club in the 2017-2018 season from AC Milan and since then he has accumulated 79 LaLiga, 13 Europa League and 8 Copa del Rey matches with the Submarine. In all those clashes, Carlos Bacca has been able to score 32 goals (18 in 17-18, 11 in 18-19 and 3 in 19-20).
The Colombian player joins Moi Gómez, Gerard Moreno, Sergio Asenjo, Manu Trigueros, Santi Cazorla, Mario Gaspar and Bruno Soriano as the current players who have exceeded this figure defending the Villarreal CF colours.
It is worth highlighting that Carlos Bacca is the top Colombian goalscorer in LaLiga history with 55 goals (21 with Villarreal and 34 with Sevilla FC), beating Radamel Falcao (52).
