The Yellows have joined the #PaintGold initiative for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Villarreal CF has joined the #PaintGold campaign, backing ASPANION (Asociación Española de Padres de Niños con Cáncer – Spanish Association of Parents of Children with Cancer), as this month, September, is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. To give visibility and support to youngsters with cancer, Villarreal players Moi Gómez and Xavi Quintillà have painted their face gold, a colour that represents the strength of these children.

For the sixth season in a row, Villarreal CF and ASPANION will continue collaborating to fight childhood cancer, to make this illness more visible, as well as the fight of the children who have it.

60 small ‘giants’ enjoyed Villarreal vs Real Valladolid at the Estadio de la Cerámica

A total of 60 children from ASPANION went to the Estadio de la Cerámica yesterday to enjoy the Submarine’s trip against Real Valladolid. The young Yellows brought colour to the stand and were able to enjoy their team’s match, as they already did during the tie against Real Madrid. For the last six years, ASPANION children have been going to every match the Yellows play at home. Endavant ASPANION!
