Villarreal CF’s U8s and UD Alginet’s U10s win on the Estadio de la Cerámica pitch
The ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament has ended in spectacular style. Today the semi-finals and the finals took part in the build-up to and during half-time of the match against SD Huesca at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
The semi-finals, which took place outside the ground, were disputed between Burriana FB, CF Racing Onda, CD Caxton College, CD Oliver, CF Alcalá, CD Altura, CD Salesianos Burriana, CF Andiamo Vila-real, Platges de Moncofa CF and Villarreal CF. After some exciting games, the finalists were Villarreal CF and CF Racing Onda at U8 level and Villarreal CF and UD Alginet at U10 level.
The finals were held on the Estadio de la Cerámica pitch during the half-time break of the LaLiga match between Villarreal CF and SD Huesca. An incomparable experience. Villarreal U8s (Prebenjamín) beat CF Racing Onda 2-0, while the UD Alginet U10s (Benjamín) won on penalties against the Villarreal CF side (0-0 after full-time). Congratulations!
