The Yellow No.3 recevied the trophy from Javier Gómez-Ferrer Sapiña from ASISA
The Villarreal defender, Álvaro González, was presented with the trophy for the ASISA healthiest player for the 2017/18 season. The ASISA director of Castellón and Valencia, Dr. Javier Gómez-Ferrer Sapiña, was responsible for presenting the defender with the award in the moments before kick-off against Atlético Madrid out on the pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The fans gave the Yellow No.3 a well-deserved standing ovation.
Álvaro González played a total of 38 matches last season between LaLiga (33), UEFA Europa League (3) and Copa del Rey (2) competitions, accumulating 3,349 minutes of play in which he also provided two assists.
