The Yellows provide good sensations in the draw against Leeds

Villarreal drew against Leeds (2-2) in the last pre-season friendly where the Yellows, hard-working and organised, impressed physically and showed that they can react well.

At the end of the match, an early own goal and a Dani Raba strike were enough to level the scoreboard, which at half-time was in favour of the English side.

The match started in the best way possible after an own goal from Marcelo Bielsa’s side after an Alberto Moreno shot with less than 15 seconds on the clock, but the Whites were good at reacting thanks to a Mateusz Klich goal after ten minutes, and another from Patrick Bamford – who was quickest to react after a loose ball from a set piece – just before half-time.

In the second half, Unai Emery’s team were organised and grew into the game against Leeds. The Yellows stepped up their intensity and ten minutes from the end, Raba scored the equaliser.
