All set for the start of the Yellow Cup Easter!


Games will be shown live and some 11-a-side matches will take place at the Mini Estadi

This Thursday, the Yellow Cup Easter gets underway in Vila-real. The Miralcamp and Pamesa Training Grounds will be the bases of this passionate spring tournament that will unite teams from different ages and nationalities at the home of the Yellows Academy, so they can breathe a unique footballing atmosphere. For the first time, the Mini Estadi will host the 11-a-side finals, and every age group, both boys and girls, will be shown on the club’s livestreaming service Villarreal CF Live as well as official YouTubeFacebook and Twitter accounts.

Fans can also enjoy a visit to the Estadio de la Cerámica, autographs from first-team players and a Yellows match live at the stadium.

Yellow Cup Easter programme:

Thursday 18th April 

  • Arrival and accommodation. Reception at the hotel, with tournament documentation, accreditation wristbands and official Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter gifts handed out.

Friday 19th April

  • Inicio de la competición: Fase de Grupos: Disputa de partidos durante toda la jornada.
  • Start of the competition: Group stage: Matches during the entire day.
  • Visit to the Estadio de la Cerámica for all participants and companions.
  • Signing autographs will take place during the morning (time and players to be confirmed).

Saturday 20th April

  • Disputa de la competición en horario de mañana, Fases de Clasificación y Fases de Consolación.
  • The qualifying and consolation stages will take part in the morning
  • 7pm CEST VYCE party at the Hotel Intur Orange swimming pool with a medal ceremony for all participants
  • 8:15pm Cocktail VYCE for companions at the Hotel Intur Orange garden
  • 10pm Leaders’ dinner at the Playchica restaurant in Benicàssim.

Sunday 21st April

  • Final qualification and consolation games during the morning
  • From 10am, the finals start
  • Closing ceremony and trophy ceremony for champions and runners-up
  • Fan zone, ahead of Villarreal vs Leganés dedicated to the tournament
  • 1,250 tournament participants will attend the LaLiga match.
