Villarreal CF and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Valencian striker

Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Paco Alcácer, who will wear Yellow for the rest of this season, and five more (until June 2025). The Valencian striker will train for the first time under Javi Calleja’s orders, in the morning session this Friday (10:30am CET). The striker will wear the No.17 shirt.

A presentation open to the public

Paco Alcácer will be presented to the Yellows’ support this Friday, at 6:15pm CET, at the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva), to coincide with half-time of the U19 match between Villarreal CF and CD Roda, which starts at 5:30pm CET. At that time, the Valencian footballer will take to the pitch to receive the welcome from his new fans, to whom he will give out a number of gifts.

Before meeting his new fans, at 5pm CET, he will be officially presented to the media in a press conference in the Training Ground Press Room.

A proven goalscorer with a great instinct

Paco Alcácer García (Torrent, 30/08/1993) is a complete striker with a real goalscorers’ instinct. The Valencian footballer has a great shot and a great finishing ability. The Spanish striker can shoot with both feet and is also impressive in the air.

The Spanish forward started his professional career with Valencia CF, where he played 124 games, scoring 43 goals. From ‘Los Che’, he went to FC Barcelona, where he played 50 games and scored 15 goals. From the Catalan side, he went to Germany. It was there, at Borussia Dortmund, where he had his best goalscoring numbers. With the Black and Yellows, he played 47 matches and scored 26 goals.

Alcácer is also a Spain international. The striker, from Torrent, has 12 goals in 19 games for his country.
