Agreement in principle with FC Porto for the loan of the striker until the end of the season
Villarreal CF and FC Porto have reached an agreement in principle for the loan of forward Adrián López, who will now play for the Yellows until the end of the season and is just missing his medical and contract signature, which will both be completed on Monday 23rd January. The press conference for the presentation of the footballer will also be held on Monday at a time that is still yet to be confirmed and will be announced in the next few hours.
Adrián López returns to the Submarine, who he already played for last season, also on loan. The Asturian striker played 23 official matches for Villarreal, in which he scored five goals, a couple of which were of huge importance, one against Liverpool in the Semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League (1-0) and another against Valencia at the Mestalla stadium (0-2) which helped the Yellows to qualify for the UEFA Champions League Play-offs.
