The Yellows reserves beat Wolves U23s in their first pre-season friendly
Villarreal B played their first pre-season friendly on Sunday in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia). The Yellows reserves beat Wolverhampton Wanderers U23s thanks to a goal from Adrián Riera in the 50th minute.
Miguel Álvarez shared the minutes between his players in the friendly against the English side. In the first half, the players who took to the pitch were: Diego Fuoli; Migue Leal, Carlos Blanco, Sofian Chakla, Edu Adell; Akale, Ramón Bueno, Fran Álvarez, Juan Agüero; Adrián Riera and Villa.
After the break, it was: Josele, José Manuel López, Antonio Leal, José Castaño, Goyo Medina, Carlos Beitia, Andy Bogdan, Jack Ipalibo, Ahn and Nacho Díaz.
The next Villarreal B friendly will be this Saturday against UD Sanse (7pm CEST). Once the game is over, the Yellows will return to Vila-real, ending their ‘camp’ in Murcia.
