Villarreal have recognised the trajectory of the 16 players who have spent ten years representing the club
A recognition of commitment and passion for their colours. Villarreal CF has paid tribute to 16 of its players for completing a decade wearing the yellow shirt. The celebration, held on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica, was led by president Fernando Roig, who personally presented the traditional ceramic submarine to each of the players.
The event was also attended by several members of the board of directors, as well as Miguel Ángel Tena, Villarreal’s director of football; Pablo Cañada, academy di of youth football; and Sergi Campos, Villarreal Women coordinator.
Among those honoured were first-team players Gerard Moreno and Alfonso Pedraza, as well as Villarreal Women’s Cristina Cubedo and Lucía Gómez. The rest of the players who received this special gift for their 10-year career at the club were Aitor Gelardo (Villarreal B), Pau Navarro (Villarreal B), Pedro Luque (Juvenil Roda), Gerard López (Juvenil C), Aimar Traver (Juvenil C), Óscar Shimelis Gil (Juvenil B), Teo Bou (Juvenil B), Álvaro Alcaide (Juvenil B), Ángel Liberós (Cadete B), Unai Sellés (Cadete B), Daniel Sasha (Cadete B) and Alejandro Chavero (Cadete B).
