La noticia positiva la protagonizaron Alejandro Jiménez, Jordi Ortega y Jorge Pascual, que participaron en la victoria de España ante Eslovaquia (0-3) en el Torneo Desarrollo Sub-16 de la UEFA. Alejandro Jiménez volvió a marcar por segundo partido consecutivo. Jordi Ortega fue titular y jugó 58 minutos, mientras que Alejandro Jiménez y Jorge Pascual saltaron al campo también cuando se cumplía el minuto 58.
The five academy players currently with Spain U16s had a mixed bag of results yesterday. On the positive side, Alejandro Jiménez, Jordi Ortega and Jorge Pascual were involved in Spain’s 0-3 win against Slovakia in the UEFA U16 Development Tournament. Jiménez scored in the second match running. Ortega started the game, coming off after 58 minutes, while Jiménez and Pascual came off the bench at that moment too.
Those who weren’t so lucky were Rodrigo Alonso and Marcos Sánchez against Mexico in the 47 Mondial Football Montaigu. The Yellows youngsters lost 1-4 in their third game of tournmanent. Alonso started the match.
