The Estadio de la Cerámica put on an impressive LED light show before the Real Betis match

The Estadio de la Cerámica shone in brilliant brightness before the start of the match against Real Betis with an impressive light show which showed off the new and modern LED illumination at the Yellows ground. The show consisted of a spectacular and thunderous combination of sound, music and lights when the Submarine’s starting lineup was read out, with the Yellows fans providing a chorus of noise from the stands before kick-off.

Cutting-edge lighting technology

Villarreal CF carried out a complete remodelling of the lighting at the Estadio de la Cerámica ahead of this season, complying with the television transmission rules for LaLiga 2018/19, offering the opportunity to mould a number of hues and light characteristics. After this reform, Villarreal’s stadium has 200 projectors of 1,380 watts, which work together to create an excellent uniform lighting situation and a reproduction of color for 4K transmissions.

The club also wanted to bring this to the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva), where 160 LED projectors have been installed.
