Villarreal Women will play in the Primera División next year
Villarreal Women celebrated their promotion to Primera División in style after beating CFF Cáceres 4-0 at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The Yellows needed just one win to make their dreams come true, and that was exactly what they got.
There was pure euphoria with the full-time whistle. After a spectacular season, it was time to celebrate. Hugs, smiles… and a party organised by the club.
Once the match was over, the club organised a Toblerone event sign which said ‘Campiones… i de Primera!’ (Champions… and in the top flight!). Two confetti cannons were also in place so the players and coaching staff could celebrate the achievement as it deserved, while wearing commemorative t-shirts. Finally, there were also fireworks for an unforgettable day.
