The club has presented the activities for its 100th anniversary, as well as the anthem and the commemorative centenary kit
Villarreal CF celebrated this Monday evening the launch of the club’s centenary at the Vila-real Auditorium, which marks the beginning of the club’s centenary and in which the different activities that the club will carry out until the end of the current season to celebrate its 100th anniversary were announced.
The event also saw the presentation of the commemorative centenary T-shirt with a performance by the famous freestyler JaviFreeStyle and the club’s centenary anthem, ‘Endavant Villarreal CF’, with the presence of its author, Nacho Cano, who performed it on the stage of the Auditorium with a grand piano and his choir.
Fernando Roig led the event with a speech in which he addressed the Yellows’ fans and which also saw the participation of the mayor of Vila-real, José Benlloch, the president of the Castellón Provincial Goverment, José Martí and the author of the club’s centenary anthem, Nacho Cano. In addition, other important personalities such as the sub-delegate of the Government of Castellón, Soledad Ten Bachero, former presidents, ex-coaches and ex-players of the club, members of the coaching staff and representatives of the first team, B team and women’s team, as well as the media, sponsors and fans of the club witnessed this important event live.
