Villarreal CF will play a preseason friendly against Swansea City AFC this upcoming August 9th at the Liberty Stadium in Wales. The match will start at 3 pm local time (4 pm Spanish time). The White and Black team plays in the Premier League, ending last season in the 12th position of the ranking. This team is also known as the ‘Spanish Swansea’, for seven footballers from Spain are part of the club (Pablo Hernández, Chico Flores, Amat, Michu, Cañas, Rangel and Pozuelo).
This season, the team managed by Garry Monk –previously by Michael Laudrup- also played the Europa League, qualifying to the round of 32.
