The first leg of the cup tie will be played at the Mini Estadi and the return leg at Valdebebas
The draw took place this afternoon at the RFEF headquarters and paired the Villarreal U19 A team with Real Madrid for the semi-finals of the U19 Copa del Rey. The first leg will be played this Sunday at 6pm CEST at the Mini Estadi and the return leg will be held at Valdebebas the following weekend.
The U19s have reached the semi-gfinals after knocking out Real Zaragoza and Real Sociedad, while Real Madrid having beaten CD Tenerife and FC Barcelona to get to this stage.
Real Madrid finished the league in second place in Group V of the División de Honor with 79 points from 30 games. In fact, Real Madrid were the best second-placed team in the nation, which meant they went on to compete in the Copa de Campeones in Vigo.
It should also be remembered that Villarreal U19s and Real Madrid have already played each other in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey back in the 2015/16 season.
The other Copa del Rey semi-final will be disputed between Levante UD and Atlético de Madrid.
