The combined Yellows U17 team plays their third match of the Generation Adidas Cup today
A combined Yellows U17 team is currently playing in the prestigious Generation Adidas Cup in Dallas. The Yellows have already played two matches, drawing in the first against the University of Chile (1-1, the Chileans won 5-3 on penalties) and winning 2-1 against Columbus Crew SC in the second. The team, managed by Javi Prats, will play their third game today against the San José Earthquakes (12am CET) and you can watch it live at the following link: San José Earthquakes-Juvenil Villarreal.
The Yellows are in Group C in the competition and are currently in second place with 4 points, just behind the University of Chile (5 points) and ahead of the San José Earthquakes (3 points) and Columbus Crew SC (0 points). The Villarreal U17s will play in this third and last match of the group stages and then the first placed team from each group and the best second placed team will go through to the Semi-finals of the Generation Adidas Cup in Dallas.
