An exciting game, without much in between the two teams. Villarreal B drew against Valencia Mestalla in a derby at the Antonio Puchades in Paterna (1-1). Los Che went ahead just before half-time through Emaná, while a great Sergio Lozano long-range effort drew the Yellows level.
The first half was even, without too many goalscoring opportunities. The opener came in the 44th minute. Valencia Mestalla’s efficient counter attack was finished by Emaná at the second attempt.
The second half saw the equaliser come. Lozano’s long-range shooting was on show, with the ball flying past Bernad (1-1, m.69).
