The club backs the ‘Painting the Path in Pink’ initiative by selling charity bracelets and pendants

Today, 15th February 2017, is the International Day against Childhood Cancer. Villarreal CF is very much involved in this fight and for this reason has collaborated with the ‘Pintando el Camino en Rosa‘ (‘Painting the Path Pink’) initiative. For this reason, the club is selling bracelets and pendants in the Official Shop in the Plaza Mayor at a modest price. All funds raised will be allocated entirely to ASPANION (Parents and Children with Cancer Association).

The Yellow Submarine players also got involved and enjoyed a special visit at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) from young cancer fighters Rafa, Sara, Andrea and Eva. The players had photos with them, signed autographs and gave them the bracelets and pendants.

Lastly, it should be mentioned that through the Endavant Solidaritat initiative the club has always supported the fight against childhood cancer. Villarreal CF also collaborates closely with the ASPANION association on a regular basis and invites more than fifty parents and children from the association to every home match at the Estadio de la Cerámica. We are painting the path in pink!
