Three youngsters get off to a good start at COTIF (2-0)

Morante, Baena and goalscorer Collado started for Spain in their win against Russia

Yellows Academy youngsters Iván Morante, Álex Baena and Diego Collado started for Spain U20s in their first COTIF match in l’Alcúdia against Russia. The three footballers played an important role in the Spanish win against Russia (2-0), with Collado scoring the first goal. The other came from Marc Tenas.

Morante and Baena were taken off in the 41^st minute, while Collado was substituted in the 58^th.

Spain U20s’ COTIF schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, 30^th July: Spain vs Russia (2-0).
• Friday, 2^nd August: Argentina vs Spain (10:30pm CEST).
• Sunday, 4^th August: Bahrain vs Spain (10:30pm CEST).
• Tuesday 6^th August: Spain vs Mauritania (8:30pm CEST).
