The Yellows U23s kick off their official season this Sunday with five signings

The long-awaited moment has arrived. Villarreal B will return to official competition this Sunday after seven months off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Yellows reserves will visit the Municipal Santa Eulalia to face Peña Deportiva (12pm CEST).

An opponent the B team have already played against in preseason in which they won 2-0 with goals from Kevin Soni and Yeremi Pino.

The Yellows reserve side will once again be managed by Miguel Álvarez, who will be in charge for the fourth consecutive season. The head coach has led the reserves for 105 games, with a record of 46 wins, 29 draws and 30 defeats.

At his disposition he has a renewed team, with lots of youth, but above all heaps of talent.

The main five signings for the B team are: De la Fuente, Kevin Soni, Ros, Maxi Villa and Haissem Hassan. All of whom have joined the squad to strengthen the already potent group of players that make it up, with talented youngsters having moved up from the Villarreal C team too.
