Six towns in Castellón showed off their delights in the Yellows’ stadium in the 2019/20 season

The Esatdio de la Cerámica has become an exceptional ambassador for our province since being officially opened in 2017. The Yellows’ stadium is a loyal reflection of Villarreal CF’s strong commitment to the area it’s based in, and is a fantastic stage to promote economic and cultural activity within the province of Castellón.

Through its name, the Estadio de la Cerámica promotes one of the most important industries in the province, and gives life to an integrating project which unites some of the most important businesses in the tiling sector. Pamesa, Porcelonosa, Argenta Cerámica, Torrecid and Ferro are the main sponsors of the stadium, while TAU Cerámica, Bestile, Esmalglass-Itaca and Colorobbia are official sponsors. All of these prestigious brands have a space on the stadium’s façade, which receives thousands of fans every matchday from all over Europe.

Furthermore, for the last five seasons, Villarreal CF has been carrying out the Endavant Província initiative, of which the main aim is to promote tourism in different towns, villages and cities in our province.

The club promotes a town every matchday, giving them the chance to show off their charms, customs and food to thousands of fans who go to the Estadio de la Cerámica each weekend. In the current 2019/20 season, so far, Vinaròs (Real Valladolid), Nules (Real Betis), Almassora (Deportivo Alavés), Vila-real (Getafe), Onda (Osasuna) and Benicàssim (Levante) have been the towns which have shone at the Yellows’ ground.

Invited by the club, around 2,500 people living in these towns have been able to watch a live match from the Estadio de la Cerámica stands. What’s more, the mayors have been special guests to the directors’ meals, which were provided by local restaurants on each occasion. As a way of marking the occasion, musical bands from each locality performed on the pitch before and during half-time of the games, getting a warm welcome from fans in the stadium.
