Villarreal Academy launches the #SoccerTogether campaign
In these tough times around the world due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Villarreal Academy wants to make sure it is offering as much support as possible to the club’s international academies, and as a result has launched the #SoccerTogether campaign.
The initiative sees Villarreal Academy coaches and staff in Spain have weekly online sessions with parents, coaches and players from each international academy via video calls. There are a series of topics and expert advice that will be presented to the children and their families to ensure they can train at home, keep improving as soccer players and above all, stay strong in these hard moments.
At Villarreal, we believe that we’re stronger together and the #SoccerTogether campaign was built on this belief. The campaign aims to promote the ideas that are at the heart of Villarreal, those of getting up when we fall, staying together as a team, with huge pride and respect for sporting values. It hopes to raise awareness of these values in the communities that are home to the club’s international academies.
