Raising the curtain on the ‘Villarreal CF, 20 años en Primera’ exhibition

The prestigious Agencia AFE, alongside the club, has this evening unveiled the photo exhibition, which will be running until 4^th January

Unforgettable moments from Villarreal CF’s recent history. This evening, at the Estadio de la Cerámica, the photo exhibition, organised by the Agencia EFE, alongside the club, called ‘Villarreal CF, 20 years in Primera’, was unveiled. The presitigious news agency recognises Villarreal CF’s growth, celebrating its 20 years in the top flight of Spanish football, and for having become one of the top 20 teams in the history of the top division in Spain (in fact, 19^th in the all-time Primera standings). All of that, with 2020 just around the corner.

A number of key attendees went to the presentation, including Villarreal president Fernando Roig, vice-president José Manuel Llaneza, CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles, a number of board members and Bruno Soriano, Santi Cazorla and Pau Torres from the men’s first team. Giuseppe Rossi, top scorer in Villarreal history was also present. From the Agencia EFE, Luis Villarrejo, sporting director; general manager for the Comunidad Valenciana Adolfo Ibarra, editor Alfonso Gil and sales manager Jorge Pradas were all in attendance. Vila-real mayor José Benlloch also didn’t want to miss out.

After a number of talks where the Villarreal president, the EFE sporting director, the Vila-real mayor and Santi Cazorla took to the stage, those present visited each of the images, remembering a number of unforgettable moments, and sharing anecdotes about the Yellow Submarine’s recent history.

The exhibition, which is free and open to everyone, is taking place at the entrance to Casals Blaus at the Estadio de la Cerámica (by Gate 24, on Calle Blasco Ibáñez) from 17^th December to 4^th January. 

Fans can able to enjoy exclusive images looking at memorable moments in the Yellow Submarine’s history in a different way. Promotions, unforgettable wins, European nights, historic players… Moments that ‘groguets’ can live once more.

Prizes for fans who attend and share on social media

Fans who visit the exhibition and share their experience with a photo using the #20V20 hashtag, remembering some of the best moment from the last 20 years, will take part in a draw for two special prizes. a trip with the first team for a league tie and an official shirt signed by the first-team squad.

Exhbition times (free entry):

• From 6pm to 9pm: 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 23^rd, 27^th and 30^th December and well as 2^nd and 3^rd January 2020.
• From 10am to 1:30pm: Saturday 21^st and 28^th December, as well as Saturday 4^th January.
• Closed: 22^nd, 24^th, 25^th, 26^th, 29^th and 31^st December, as well as 1^st January.
