Pau Torres received the ASISA Healthiest Player Ward for the 2021/22 season in the build-up to Villarreal’s game against Sevilla. The award, organised by the club’s Official Health Care Provider, ASISA, is for the player with the most minutes played during the previous season.

The defender from Vila-real was the footballer to play most minutes in the previous campaign. A total of 4,146 minutes across 47 matches, in which he scored six goals.

After Pau Torres, the players who had played the most games for the Yellows last season were Gero Rulli (4,108) and Dani Parejo (3,783).
