The Serbian defender will play for the side from Vitoria for the 2016/17 season
Villarreal CF and Deportivo Alavés have come to an agreement for Yellows defender Aleksandar Pantic, who will play on loan for the side from Vitoria for the 2016/17 season. The agreement between both clubs does not offer a buying stake for the Serbian footballer.
Aleksandar Pantic has a lot of experience playing at the elite level. Born in Arandelovac, eighty kilometres from Belgrade, he played for many clubs in Serbia’s capital before coming to Villarreal CF, from where he has since been loaned to Córdoba CF for the 2014/15 season and Eibar for the 2015/2016 season.
The eastern European defender is a very versatile player, as he can play in both centre back positions and has been known to fill in at full back occasionally too. Powerful and a great ball winner, he stands out for his good positioning.
