The Villarreal B head coach underlines that his team want to sign off the season in style against Barcelona B

Villarreal B will play their last game of the season against Barcelona B at the Mini Estadi this Sunday (12pm CEST, Villarreal TV). The Mini Submarine’s head coach Miguel Álvarez believes that his team will fight until the very end to get a good result, despite the fact that they have already reached their objective for the season: “We want to end the season with a win. The team is playing well and competing against sides with a lot of potential, as we saw the other day against Andorra. The main aim has been reached, with the boys getting experience and confirming our place in the newly-formed Primera RFEF.”

Regarding the upcoming game, Álvarez expects a great show: “I’m expecting a tightly-fought game, like the one at the Johan Cruyff Stadium in Barcelona. We always show up and we are going to do that until the very end.”

The plans for the future of the team are clear: “Once this match is over, we will continue training until the first team’s season is over. We owe that to the club, and the lads need to be ready. We will work more on individual aspects in the training sessions,” concluded Álvarez.
