An outstanding Villarreal keeps improving during its training stage
Villarreal CF scored 3 goals against Swansea City ACF, winning against the Welsh side by 0-3. The match was played yesterday at 4 pm local time at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium in Villarreal’s fourth friendly match of the preseason. The team is looking good and has performed very well up to date, improving the game after every clash with the clear goal of repeating a great start of the season. On August 21st we will face the first official challenge of the season against FC Astana in the playoffs for the group stage of UEFA’s Europa League.
Uche, Bruno and Cheryshev scored the goals for the Submarine, that dominated the match against a Premier League team. Marcelino took advantage of the match to share the minutes along with all his men, replacing half of the team during the game. The performance during the entire match didn’t change and the new players looked perfectly adapted to their new squad. The first goal of the match arrived pretty early, after a great combination between Espinosa -who played right wing-, Cani, Jaume Costa, Giovani and Uche who ended up sending the ball to the net. Bruno scored a superb free kick for the second and the third was scored by Cheryshev with a header after two rejections on the crossbar.
Vietto’s début in Yellow
The new signing, Argentinian striker Luciano Vietto made his début with the Submarine and played a good match. He played during the second half, showing-off his immense technical skills and very close to scoring a goal. He sent the ball to the crossbar and his best play was a spectacular volley that Swansea’s Fabianski managed to stop.
