The Valencia born Manager will train the First Team this evening (7pm CET)
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Fran Escribá, who will take over the role of First Team Manager for this season. The Valencia born Manager is due to start right away as he will run this evening’s training session at 7pm and will subsequently do an official presentation press conference at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva), accompanied by Villarreal CF President, Fernando Roig.
Fran Escribá Segura (03/05/65, Valencia) started his management career as Assistant Manager of Getafe CF, Valencia CF, SL Benfica and Atlético de Madrid.
In the 2012/13 season he started his career as Manager at Elche CF, where he stayed until the end of the 2014/15 campaign. At the helm of Elche he got them promoted to the First Division as champions of the Second Division A in 2012/13. For the 2015/2016 campaign, Escribá managed Getafe CF.
