The Villarreal captain will don a special armband against Valencia to support the cause
Next Monday 19th October is ‘International Day Against Breast Cancer’ and Villarreal CF will show its charitable side once more. On the day before, the Submarine will support the cause in the derby against Valencia CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica (Sunday, 4pm CEST).
For that reason, the Yellows captain will wear a pink armband to support this special day. What’s more, all Villarreal CF players will wear pink tape and their shirts from the game will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) that will be raffled in a prize draw to raise money to be used for the continued investigation.
All these events are part of the Endavant Solidaritat initiative.
