Foyth has insisted on the importance of the bond between the team and the fans to get back to winning ways
Villarreal CF player, Juan Foyth, has appeared before the media at a press conference to analyse the current situation of the team and talk about the Submarine’s next opponent, Getafe CF.
Against Getafe, Villarreal will try to get three points again. “No team likes to have four consecutive defeats. We’ve started the week with a lot of optimism, but at the same time with a lot of responsibility because we are aware of the situation. We have to keep working to get positive results,” explained Foyth.
Regarding the game against Getafe, which will be played next Monday at 9pm CET at the Estadio de la Cerámica, Foyth said: “It will be a tough game. At home we have to be strong and be dominant. Getafe are a very tough team who will give us many challenges, as they did in the first meeting this season.”
Foyth also took the opportunity to appeal to the fans for the game against the side from Madrid: “On Monday at the Estadio de la Cerámica we need the support of our fans to get the game off to a good start. This year they continue to accompany us match after match and when you’re not in a good moment, that’s when you need them the most. We look forward to seeing you on Monday.”
