Villarreal CF recognise Aixa Salvador’s achievements for winning the U17 Women’s World Cup with Spain
Her recognition was more than deserved. The Ladies’ First Team player Aixa Salvador was parade on the pitch before the match with UD Almería, receiving a ceramic football boot in the colours of Villarreal CF after being named world champion with Spain U17. The homage to Aixa took place just before the match on the Estadio de la Cerámica pitch. Jaume Costa, who captained the Yellows, was the man to give her the trophy. The Yellows support showed their recognition for the academy graduate with a rapturous ovation.
It was a spectacular 2018 for Aixa, who was also Spanish champion with Valencia, European champion with Spain and U17 and world champion with Spain U17. Congratulations, Aixa!
