The Villarreal number 9 will play two friendly matches against France and Australia
Villarreal CF’s Colombian forward, Carlos Bacca, has been called up for his country to play in two friendly matches against France and Australia that will serve as preparation for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
The match against France will take place on Friday 23rd March at the Stade de France and the friendly against Australia will be played on Tuesday 27th March at Craven Cottage, home ground of Fulham FC in London, England.
That makes it seven Yellow internationals
With Bacca’s call-up for Colombia, that makes it seven Villarreal CF players that will be going on international duty with their respective national teams at the end of March: Bacca (Colombia), Rukavina (Serbia), Cheryshev (Russia), Enes Ünal (Turkey), Rodrigo (Spain), Fornals (Spain U21) and Salem Al-Dawsari (Saudi Arabia).
