Villarreal players have been enjoying picking up their racquets at the Club de Tenis Valencia
Raúl Albiol and Étienne Capoue have attended the Club de Tenis Valencia to support the celebration of the Faulcombridge Cup, an ATP Challenger 100 that will be held from 19th to 26th November and in which Roberto Bautista, an athlete sponsored by Endavant Esports, will be taking part.
The event, which was first held at the CT Valencia in 1933, has consolidated its place on the international calendar, being the only ATP clay-court event in Europe to close the season. This year’s edition will feature 32 men’s and 32 women’s singles players and 32 women’s doubles players.
The men’s ATP features five players in the top 100 of the world ranking. Names such as Roberto Bautista (66) from Castellón, Bernabé Zapata (81) from Valencia, Hugo Gastón (84) from Toulouse, Alberto Ramos-Viñolas (94) from Barcelona and Flavio Cobolli (98) from Florence are among the top seeded players in this tennis event on the Valencian clay.
Egypt’s Mayar Sherif (50) and American Alycia Parks (54) lead the ITF women’s list, which includes eight players in the top 100: Clara Burel (61), Tamara Korpatsch (71), Kateryna Baindl (86), Jodie Anna Burrage (91), Jaqueline Adina Cristian (97) and Viktoriya Tomova (99).
