The young goalkeeper from the Balearic Islands has joined Miguel Álvarez’s side until 2028
The young goalkeeper Álex Quevedo (28/04/2004) has signed for Miguel Álvarez’s Villarreal B. He will join the Yellow Submarine after finishing his contract with Mallorca B, signing until 2028.
The player born in Mahón (Menorca) played nine games for Mallorca’s B team in Segunda RFEF in the 22/23 season. The Balearic side were relegated and this season he has been the starting goalkeeper in Tercera RFEF with 33 appearances in 34 matches in the regular phase, conceding only 16 goals.
After finishing the season in second place, Mallorca B won promotion in the playoff, thus returning to Segunda RFEF a year later. Quevedo also played in all six games of the promotion play-off to the fourth division of Spanish football.
In addition, the Balearic goalkeeper has been in Mallorca’s first team dynamics and was called up for the first time in the match against Celta de Vigo, on Matchday 20 of the LALIGA EA Sports season.
