The European champion with Spain will hope to become a double champion with success in Uruguay
Villarreal youngster Aixa Salvador has been called up by Spain U17s to take part in the U17 Women’s World Cup, which takes place next month in Uruguay.
The Ladies’ First Team player, who made her comeback last weekend against Joventut Almassaro after an injury, will join the national side on Wednesday, 31st October at their training ground (La Ciudad del Fútbol) in Las Rozas, near Madrid, to start preparation for the tournament. On 4th November, they will head to Montevideo (Uruguay) to take part in the World Cup.
Spain has been drawn in Group D alongside Korea Republic, Colombia and Canada.
The matches Aixa Salvador will play with Spain U17 at the World Cup in Uruguay are the following (time and date in Spain):
Group stages:
Korea Republic-Spain: 14th November at 8pm.
Colombia-Spain: 17th November at 11pm.
Spain-Canada: 21st November at 6pm.
